Tharaka Ilayperuma's Page

Tharaka Ilayperuma received his BSc in Mathematics with a first class honours from the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka. He also won the gold medal for the best performence in mathematcs in his graduation. He received the Degree of Licentiate of Philosophy (PhL) from the Stockholm University in 2007 and the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2010. He is currently working at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Ruhuna, Matara, Sri Lanka.

He is a member of syslab research group and particularly interested in issues related to the development of e-commerce information systems such as modelling e-business activities, relating goal modelling with business modelling, and use of business models in service-oriented modelling and model-driven development of e-services.

Together with his colleagues at DSV/SYSLAB research group, he has published research results in the above areas. He has also been a member of Interop project, an EU project Interoperability Research for Networked Enterprises Applications and Software.
